Me, KAYAKING,
BEFORE I GOT RAVAGED BY A STORM

Hi

(she/her)

As a kid, I always carried a tiny point-and-shoot camera. My first one was green and coincidentally was a Fujifilm - the brand I use now, by the way.

My childhood friends found me incredibly annoying with my camera touting since I constantly filmed and photographed literally everything and everyone. I'd film them at their homes, in class, in stores, during recess, walking home — and once, I even filmed my two friends breaking up (cue loads od retrospective guilt), and was frequently abandoned on hikes because I was too busy photographing a flower  (this still happens).

I still carry a camera around - albeit with less, accidental breakups occupying my memory cards. Nowadays I prefer shooting animals (sans the death), landscapes, and various flora that intrigue me.;I highly value the capacity wildlife photography has to advocate, inform, and simply aestheticize the beauty of our world.

Oh - some non-photographic information about me:
I enjoy paddle-boarding and longboarding. I think the Insomniac Games Spider-man is better than the MCU version AND the Tobey Maguire trilogy. One of my favourite paintings is the Death of Marat by Jacques Louis-David; there, now I don't sound like an NPC photographer that materialized out of the ether.
